Medieval Event – The Boys Zomboid

In the heart of the kingdom lies the small, peaceful town of Ardentfell, a place where the clang of the blacksmith’s hammer and the scent of freshly baked bread fill the air. It is a town like many others, nestled between rolling hills and surrounded by dense forests. Life is simple, and the people live in harmony, ignorant of the dangers that lurk beyond their borders.

But tonight… something ancient stirs.

Character InfoDuring this event, there will be three different roles to choose from. This event will have NO predefined characters to choose from. Instead, the player himself will need to custom write his character's bio.

Character Role Summaries

You can apply for one special role, the other bio should be for a 'regular' citizen of the town. In case your special role does not get accepted. Please consider the limited slots of special roles so also put some effort into your 'regular' character, you can pick any occupation that fits the timezone, if you need any special items please include those.

SPECIAL ROLES

KING: Plays an important role in the story, life is very valuable so might have some more 'boring' gameplay
KNIGHT: Starts with some equipment, will be the first ones to fight when it comes to it, also maintains law and order in the town
TAVERN-WORKER: Will cook food and handle the tavern, where people can come to get food/booze and relax. Will see less combat but more RP
BLACKSMITH: Will craft weapons and armor

Select OccupationPlease be aware that we are using a custom mod that gives every occupation items which are intended to shake up the meta and make less popular occupations more viable (even nurses and electricians can play a big role now!). Also, be advised that we are using a custom tailored medical overhaul mod which will cause those unskilled in first aid to have a chance of botching treatments.

Character Backstory and InfoAdding character information is required. Be aware that the quality of backstory is the metric by which you will be judged fit to play that character.

AvailabilityThe event will span two days (the 29th and 30th of November) between 5 PM EST and 8 PM EST. Keep in mind that in the majority of cases, any case of unavailability will result in the applicant being rejected.
